iPhone/iPod Touch: PwnageTool and QuickPwn for 2.2.1 Firmware 釋出

iPhone Dev Team 針對 Apple iPhone/iPod Touch 最新的 2.2.1 韌體更新版本推出 PwnageTool 2.2.5 及 QuickPwn 2.2.5 for Mac OS X。 
 

 
兩者皆支援 iPod Touch 1G, iPhone and iPhone 3G.
 

一代 iPod Touch 更新韌體至 2.2 + QuickPwn Jailbreak

原本手中的 iPod Touch 一代為 2.1 的韌體，在 Apple 釋出 2.2 版的更新後，加上 iPhone Dev Team 也針對 2.2 版的更新推出相對應的應用程式，找個空閒時間來進行更新。更新及 QuickPwn Jailbreak 的步驟如下：

iPhone Dev Team released PwnageTool 2.2 and QuickPwn 2.2 for Mac OS X and QuickPwn 2.2 for Windows which support the latest iPhone/iPod Touch 2.2 firmware.

PwnageTool 2.2.1 is released, this fixes the bug that is related to “Simple Mode”.

It Works! iPod Touch 2.1 + QuickPwn 1.1

My iPod Touch ran 2.0.2 (pwned with 2.0.3.1 as posted in earlier) and tons of cracked apps. I decided to update to 2.1. with the latest QuickPwn 1.1 just released. 
Ok, here’s how I did it.

PwnageTool and QuickPwn for 2.1 Firmware Released

iPhone Dev Team released PwnageTool 2.1 and QuickPwn 1.1 for Mac OS X which support the latest iPhone/iPod Touch 2.1 firmware. 

This release does not support iPod Touch 2G.
 
PLEASE NOTE: COPY THE APPLICATION TO YOUR APPLICATIONS FOLDER OR DESKTOP BEFORE RUNNING. RUNNING DIRECTLY FROM THE DISK IMAGE WILL CAUSE ERRONEOUS BEHAVIOR (such as missing bootloader files and other oddities).

QuickPwn 1.0 for Mac OS X

iPhone Dev Team 針對 Mac OS X 釋出 QuickPwn 1.0。同時開發團隊也強調，這個版本只支援 iPhone/iPod Touch 2.0.2 版本的軔體。
QuickPwn 與 Pwnage Tool 並非互相取代的工具，它們提供不同的功能，兩者未來都會繼續的開發下去。
開發團隊提供了一個下載 QuickPwn 的 BT 連結，有需要的 Mac 使用者可自行下載使用。
