iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 Released!

iDeneb has released Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.5 version 1.3 for both Intel and AMD.

Version 1.3 includes Mac OS X 10.5.5 and latest update.

  •  Fix Error on “ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin.kext”  during the dvd boot
  •  Added more ID Device in AppleVIAATA.kext

  • Audio:
    • Update ADI1988 (Kext from Installer rev4)
    • Added ALC662
    • Added ALC861
  • Chipset:
    • Added MCP67 (Based on AppleNForceATA.kext)
    • Update VIA-SB with more ID Device in AppleVIAATA.kext
  • Fix:
    • Added PowerManagement
    • Added PowerOff_Fix
  • Kernel:
    • Kernel Vanilla 9.5.0 is the the default kernel and isn’t included in the Kernel List
    • Added Kernel 9.4.0 StageXNU (Intel/AMD, SSE2/SSE3)
  • Ethernet:
    • Added AttansicL1
    • Added RTL8201CL (For ULI Chipset)
  • Video:
    • Ati:
      • Update package X1600-PCIE and X1950XT, with 10.5.5 Drivers
      • Added AtiHDBase (For the Moment) with 10.5.4 Drivers
    • Nvidia:
      • Added More ID for 6/7/8 Series
      • Added NVKush by Diabolik

Applications:

  • Update Adium to version 1.3.1
  • Update BetterZip to version 1.7.2
  • Update OSx86Tools to stable version
  • Update Transmission to version 1.34
  • Update VLC to version 9.2
  • Added EFI_Studio, for those users that can and/or want to use it. If you want to use the EFI_String, DON’T selected the Injector!

    I can NEVER get any version of iDeneb to run.

    I don’t get it. Why does the DVD mount and run fine, but no matter which kernal, chipset or drivers I choose, I can’t boot? (The sleep kernel at least makes it to a kernel panic. The others just keep restarting the machine.)

    I have spent countless hours on this. I just want to upgrade to 10.5.5 so iTunes will play again. I have 4 other Macs – so I’m not dead in the water. This has become an obsession.

    Anyone have any advice for an ASUS A8N Deluxe with an AMD CPU and Nvidia nForce chipset?

    You have to use Disk Utility to prepare a partition for Leopard installation use. You can find the Disk Utility in the Tool menu bar on the top right after language selection screen.

You need to create a fat32 partition and format it as a hfs part in osx setup using diskutility tool.     What is the major issue make ideneb cannot use the software update? Is that because it is pirate or because it is install on mbr? if it is the second matter, will there be any different if i install it on GUID?

    You can do software update with iDeneb if you Google this problem. Therefore, it does not matter if OSx86 is installed on MBR or GUID.
